Their latest album, Casualties of Retail, was produced in conjunction with JUNO nominated producer Joao Carvalho. Enter the Haggis fans, commonly called Haggis Heads, have been both surprised and overjoyed with the results.
ETH's music is most commonly described as Celtic Fusion or "Newgrass." Their unique sound results from their trademark fusion of traditional celtic sets and modern rock. The addition of the Great Highland Bagpipe, played by Craig Downie, gives the band a distinctly Scottish/Canadian flair.
Since its birth in 1996, ETH has kept a rigorous concert schedule, playing in such wide ranging venues as Canada, Europe, and the United States. They have made appearances at such events as the Rio Rancho Highland Games in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, the New Hampshire Highland Games, Irish2000 in Albany, New York, The Central Florida Scottish Festival and Games in Orlando, Florida, and Glasgowlands Festival in Northampton, Massachusetts
